Carmen: "Excuse me, maybe you can help. I'm looking for a special gift. Never mind, I'll find it myself."
Guard: "Oh no! Carmen Sandiego! Get the police! The military!"
Carmen: "Hmm, not really my color. Oh, that's more like it. I've been meaning to get one of these."
Cop: "Freeze, Carmen. Your escape route is cut off."
Carmen: "Don't be ridiculous, gentlemen, nets are for entrances not exits."

The cops then the military chase Carmen over Washington.

Pilot: " We have Carmen Sandiego."
Computer: "Washington Police are in pursuit."
Carmen: "Correction computer, were in pursuit."
Pilot: "What? This is bigger than the police, over."

The Player and Carmen.

Carmen: "Today is a very special day for me, Player, and it's starting out just right."
Player: "Before it's over you'll be behind bars, Carmen, guaranteed."

The hunt is on.

Carmen: "That's better. Now, I've got a little game that might interest you two. Here's a clue list. Five things I plan to steal. Come midnight, we'll see who has the most items. Till then, detectives."
Ivy: "A scavenger hunt? Why would Carmen want to play a party game with us?"

A Carmen Clue.

Carmen: "I'd like to stay and egg you on, but I'm rushin' against the clock. I'd like to stay and egg you on, but I'm rushin' against the clock."

Zack enjoyed Carmen's egg clue too much.

Ivy: "Zack, you make Humpty Dumpty look like Baryshnikov."
Zack: "Yeah, but I made an egg-ceedingly great shot."
Ivy: "Come on, let's go, and no more egg jokes."

Zack tells us who his fave tv action heroes are.

Zack: "Now what do we do?"
Ivy: "Make like our favorite tv action heroes."
Zack: "Yeah, great idea."
Ivy: "Kiya! Kiya!"
Henchman: "Come here, you!"
Zack: "Woo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Nuh-nuh-nuh! Hey, Moe! A leaky faucet!"
Henchman: "What? Hey! Why, you!"
Ivy: "Come on. The Three Stooges, Zack? The Three Stooges?"

Please, no more egg jokes...

Ivy: "Ha ha! Let's see... that was up the stairs, off the ice, through the arch, and on to the minute hand."
Zack: "Ivy, hurry!"
Ivy: "We're too late, little bro."
Zack: "I mean hurry and help me!"
Ivy: "Don't worry. Fifteen minutes and the big hand will have you right back up to the top."
Zack: "Ivy, wait! Wait, okay! Ivy, I'll do anything!"
Ivy: "Anything? Like no more egg puns?"
Zack: "Okay, okay. I promise, big time. Phew. I'm a mere shell of the man I was before that horrible egg-sperience."
Ivy: "Zack..."
Zack: "Really, if you weren't so egg-stremely punctual, the yolk would have been on me."
Ivy: "Zack!"

A Carmen Clue.

Chief: "South of Cairo, near a river delta, to the east, lies a monument to the King."

At Graceland talking about Elvis' car.

Zack: "Hey, that's the pink Cadillac he once gave to his mother."
Ivy: "And there it goes, but that's not his mother."

Zack falls of the motorcycle.

Ivy: "You okay?"
Zack: "Sure, the ground broke my fall."

The detectives confront Carmen.

The Detectives: "Surprise!"
Ivy: "Happy Birthday, Carmen."
Carmen: "How did you ever know?"
Zack: "We pulled up your dossier and realized today is your birthday."
Armando: "Very clever, stealing a few world famous gifts to give yourself, Carmen."
Ivy: "Then having us get the rest and bring them together in one spot so you could steal them all before midnight."
Carmen: "I knew you'd figure it out, detectives."
Zack: "Well, here's another little present to make the surprise complete."
Carmen: "You're missing the point, Zack. The surprise is on you."
Zack: "Huh?"
Ivy: "Hang on to her cuffs, Zack."
Tatyanna: "Don't let her get away!"
Carmen: "Thanks for my gifts, detectives. Sorry there won't be cake and ice cream."
Zack: "How does she always do this?"

She gets away, again.

Carmen: "Birthdays are fun, aren't they, detectives?"
Zack: "Glad you think so, Carmen, cause you're going to spend your next twenty birthdays behind bars."
Ivy: "Get your hands in the air where we can see them."
Zack: "We don't want any pop-off, flip-up, flame-off escape tricks this time."
Carmen: "I know both of you all too well to need an escape like that tonight."
    [Carmen throws the Fabergé Egg into the water and Ivy dives for it.] Ivy: "No!"
Zack: "I guess you don't know me well enough, Carmen. I'm still here."
Carmen: "Oh, I know you better than anyone, Zack. I remember when we crossed paths in Africa how you hated reptiles. Like the one over your right shoulder."
Zack: "I'm not falling for that old snake-over-your-right-shoulder routine, Carmen. I'm way too smart for that... aaah! A snake!"
Carmen: "Next year, the clues won't be so easy!"

The Player and Carmen.

Player: "How did you know for sure Ivy would go for the Fabergé Egg instead of you, Carmen?"
Carmen: "With every birthday you get a little older and a little wiser, Player. Maybe on your next birthday you'll catch me, but I doubt it."
