Player: "You're going to hit a sour note and I'll bust you, Carmen."
Carmen: "That will take some great detective work, Player, and I doubt you've got the 'talent'."

Carmen does not like hitchhikers.

Carmen: "Afraid I can't take you with me, detectives. You'll have to get off at the next stop."

What's she up to?

Carmen: "I am here to announce the greatest musical theft in history. Anyone could steal a Stradivarius, but only Carmen Sandiego can steal what makes it worth listening to... talent."

She escapes yet again.

Ivy: "Gee, I think I hear the fat lady singing on this case, Carmen."
Carmen: "That's another way of saying the opera is over, detective, but not for me. Ciao!"

Maria's fave opera, Rigoletto, is playing...

Zack: "Oh, um, uh... maybe while in Venice we should go see it."
Maria: "Oh, Ivy, it is so hard to find a boy who loves opera."
Ivy: "Yeah. Well, sometimes they can learn, I guess."

The Player and Carmen.

Player: "It takes years for people to get really good at music. You can't just steal their talent and expect to get away with it, Carmen."
Carmen: "I did. Only your detectives kept me from enjoying the fruits of my crime."
Player: "That's music to my ears, Carmen. And next time, I'll catch you!"
