Computer: "Access denied. Please contact Acme security for assistance. Employee code accepted. Record scan indicates you've been away from Acme for ten years, three months and seven days. Welcome back, detective Carmen Sandiego."

The Chief get a little surprise.

Chief: "Zack, it's way past your... whoa! Wait a minute! You're not Zack!"
Carmen: "Thanks for noticing, Chief."
Chief: "You're coming back to work for Acme? Yes! I say yes! Carmen has been healed. She is coming back to the side of good, good, good."
Carmen: "Now you're dreaming."

A Zackism.

Zack: "Hey, hey. No prob. You'd have to be a total dexter not to like tinkering with an aircraft landing computer."

Carmen gives the Player hints to what she's up to.

Player: "What were you doing back at Acme, Carmen?"
Carmen: "Just taking a little stroll down memory lane, Player. And I realized it's time I evened the odds. So watch out, my next crime promises to be a real gem."

Zack tries to repair Carmen's damage.

Ivy: "It's been almost six hours, Zack! What's taking so long?"
Zack: "The Acme computer is the most complex system in the world, Ivy. The Chief's mouth could be anywhere."

What Carmen did at Acme.

Zack: "Ivy, look! Carmen stole a bubble memory module and accessed a hard drive info-scan for..."
Zack and Ivy: "Circuses?"

Carmen Clue left on bulletin board.

Carmen: "Come find me detectives. I'm running for the roses on grass of a different color."

If you hear something like this, don't follow. Please don't follow.

Zack: "Bad guys!"
Henchman: "You hear something?"
Zack: "Yoo-hoo, bad guys! Pbbbbt!"
Henchman: "Huh? Let's get 'em!"

Zack over-reacts to a clue.

Zack: "Duck! It's a bomb!"
Ivy: "Zack, Carmen wouldn't bomb us. It's a clue."

I think she could...

Zack: "Even Carmen Sandiego can't steal a volcano."
Ivy: "Oh, yeah? Let's go make sure she can't."

She's been waiting for them.

Carmen: "Ah, you made it, detectives."

Who's got who?

Zack: "You've got her!"
Carmen: "You're good Ivy, but, not good enough."
Zack: "Well, you had her."
Ivy: "And now they've got us!"

Bali Acme detective Ketut's words of wisdom.

Ketut: "Sometimes the packaging is just as important as the information."

Zack knows why Carmen stole the bubble memory module.

Zack: "Think about it. If Carmen wanted to figure out how our system accesses information so quickly, that module would be like a blueprint to how it works."

Zack and Ivy figure out Carmen's plan.

Zack: "Ivy, most computers run on microchips, but Acme's mainframe processes information along laser beams."
Ivy: "And if Carmen uses her diamond to refract all those info beams..."
Zack: "She could cause a humungo information traffic jam all along CrimeNet."
Ivy: "With the C-5 shut down, she'd be unstoppable."

Carmen thinks she's stranded Zack and Ivy in Bali.

Carmen: "By the time Zack and Ivy get out of that volcano, they'll find I've pulled off the ultimate crime. I've stolen all the information they used to track me. It's just their wits against mine, now."

Zack and Ivy travel through a Carmen controlled C-5 corridor.

[Carmen's laughter fills the corridor]
Zack: "I've got a bad feeling about this."

Carmen is confronted by Zack and Ivy.

Zack: "What ever made you think you could pull this off, Carmen?"
Carmen: "It wasn't so easy tracking criminals when I was a detective, Zack. We didn't have all of this high-tech hardware. It was more what we had up here."
Ivy: "Well I guess you lost most of that when you became a crook, cause you're going down here and now!"
Carmen: "I really don't think so, Ivy. Don't let the C-5 hit you on my way out."
Ivy: "Oh no you don't! Not this time!."

The Player and Carmen.

Player: "Zack and Ivy got your diamond, and now Acme's computer is faster than ever. Your plan backfired, Carmen."
Carmen: "Maybe it did, and maybe it didn't, Player. What makes you so sure, I didn't do it all on purpose, to make the game more challenging?"
Player: "Well, did you?"
Carmen: "Guess you'll just have to wait until next crime to find out for sure."
